Word 2016 Styles new feature

In Word 2016 each time you apply a heading style to your text you will notice a little triangle as you type text under the heading.

This is to allow you to collapse and expand the text, previously this was only available when using the navigation pane or in outline view.

  1. Select the text to have a heading style
  2. Home Tab/ Styles group
  3. Select Heading Style 1
  4. Then continue to type text
