Hide a formula from being seen in the Formula bar of Microsoft Excel.

There are times when we do not want to disclose how we derived at the price we are quoting the customer. One solutions is to hide the formula from being seen in the formula bar.

  1. Select the cellExcel-Computer-Courses-Sydney
  2. Right click on the cell
  3. Select Format Cells
  4. Select the Protection Tab
  5. Untick Locked
  6. Tick Hidden
  7. Proceed to set a password
  8. Review Tab
  9. Sheet Protection
  10. Set password protection for sheet
  11. You will now not be able to see the formula in the cell
